This Award will be presented to an exceptional woman who has made a real difference in business over the past 12 months.

This category is open to entrepreneurial women who have founded and run their own company; women directors of SME enterprises and/or women who have helped their business achieve significant results in the past year.

Entry to this category is open to all organisations with an operating address in South Wiltshire.

The judges will be looking for:

  • Can demonstrate how their enterprising approach to business has made a positive difference to the bottom line, operating procedures and/or the product/service range of their company
  • Can show how their innovative ideas and actions have given their business a commercial advantage
  • Who are imaginative, resourceful, original and adventurous in their approach to business

ABOUT THE ENTERPRISE NETWORK

Amanda Foster is Development Officer for The Old Fire Station Enterprise Centre Salisbury and Castletown Enterprise Centre, Board Member of Salisbury Chamber of Commerce and a Salisbury City Councillor. The Enterprise Network (TEN) is a county-wide initiative led by Wiltshire Council. With Government funding and grants, it nurtures new, small and micro businesses by supporting them right from the first ‘light bulb’ moment. The team are ready to help you and your business!

We have sites in Salisbury, Ludgershall, Trowbridge Amanda was a judge in 2011 and from 2012-2016 worked on growing and developing the Awards. She really believes in these Awards and appreciates how beneficial they are for the business community. ‘It’s great to be back as a Judge. I love connecting and championing all businesses especially start-up businesses.’
