In the past the focus has been on Digital Marketing however this year the emphasis will be on marketing excellence across all channels, from web and social media to print and radio.

Entry to this category is open to businesses of all sizes with an operating address in South Wiltshire and will be judged on merit rather than budget.



The judges will be looking for:

  • Regular or up-to-date marketing activity which may include your website, social media presence,  generating leads through email marketing, paid per click advertising and printed materials
  • A clear understanding of your purpose, unique selling proposition, target audience needs and core marketing messages
  • A formal marketing plan which covers a variety of multi-channel marketing
  • Examples of a recent successful Marketing activity/campaigns and if you have experimented with or trialed any new marketing ideas
  • Effective messaging to communicate directly with your target audience and existing customers to engage and gain a response (sale or lead) for example your process for following-up new leads.
  • Measurement of results, conversions and data driven improvements to your marketing activities
  • Quality and consistency of creative copy, branding and design used across marketing activities

The winner will be the business who shows most innovation and creativity in their marketing activity. A company that measures results, learns from them and develops new marketing solutions which when implemented improve sales and leads.
